The Silver Shadow Performing Arts Academy is part of an artistic community that recognizes the importance of artistic experience in the personal and cultural growth of young people, and the contribution that these people make to the whole community both now and in the future.
Silver Shadow is an after-school program designed to create avenues for St. Lucians in the performing arts since 1991 and prides itself on promoting arts and culture in St. Lucia. The goal is to raise the level of awareness of the performing arts and allow the youth an avenue to channel their exuberance.
Silver Shadow Performing Arts Academy is currently celebrating its 30th Anniversary in a time when the COVID-19 pandemic has hit Saint Lucia’s cultural and creative industries hard causing countless artists and professionals to lose their income. In spite of all these challenges, the Academy continues to make small strides, to create new initiatives that defy physical confinement.
Presently the academy faces possible closure because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The committed staff and members are working very hard to save the academy by raising funds. Silver Shadow is therefore reaching out to the public to make a donation towards our Cause to help us save our dance studio.
